The link leads to a page with a small “social media release”, which includes a PDF with a short summary (in German), a [...]

The guys at George Patterson Y&R Australia did small study on how creativity matters greatly: Buy a cheap BMX bike, add creativity, shake well and put an ad up on ebay:
If you want to see the original add in its entirety, look here, someone made a screenshot of it.
(thanks, Thorsten)

Nope, this is not about their current struggle with the rights of music videos in several countries (including Germany and the UK). It’s about their “new” design, which they introduced today!
Click here to see a larger Version. In case of problems, they give you the following tipps (in German, I am afraid, but the cartoons [...]

While in Paris on a connecting flight, Pharrel tries to order a Big Mac while it’s still 6am – and the french staff neither know Pharrel, nor do they want to offer him anything but breakfast – and last but not least they don’t seem to know him and aren’t impressed at all by his [...]

People learning English have the possibility to receive “One Word a Day” via email in order to improve their vocabulary.
The word of today is funny, I wouldn’t have thought that it makes its way into regular vocabulary so fast:
Your word for 20th March 2009 is
* * * twittering * * *
Please choose the [...]

This isn’t so new any more, but I had this in my drafts and definitely wanted to share it with you. Zuji, an online travel agent, launched a rather unique campaign to illustrate the great possibilities to save money for nicer holidays:
The main thing of this was probably the ways the video made it’s way [...]

Everybody must have seen one of the “where the hell is Matt” Videos. The guy travelling around the world, dancing in some of the most remote places on this planet.
Recently, speculations have been increasing about the whole thing being a fake. Well, now Matt answers to this accusations, admitting that it was, indeed, a viral [...]

I have written about the notion of campaigning vs commiting and the fact that social media is not about short lived campaigns but more often about building up conversations and long term relationships.
The online part of the election campaign of Barack Obama was one of the most sophisticated social media campaigns I have seen in [...]

It’s an advert, but the message is generic. Any competitor of Nokia, especially Apple with the iPhone could have said the same. The underlying idea, though, is fascinating. And very true, in my opinion. Just give it a few years until a majority owns mobile devices of that kind.

A new agency promotion for the agency “la red” from Hamburg, Germany (it’s in German, sorry dear international readers). The character is one of the main characters from the German version of the TV Show “the office”, which is called Stromberg over here. Also check out the outtakes over here.

This is a fantastic response of a brand (EA Games) and a sportsman (Tiger Woods) to a piece of user generated content. In the video, someone claims to have found a glitch in a golf game by EA games – i.e. how he can make the computer animated Tiger woods run on water.
In the next [...]
