letsbuyit.com with eSwarms?

Funny, how ideas return in this second “hype”. I can still remember letsbuyit.com, which was basically reverse-auctioning by gathering a large purchasing power in the form of a large crowd of potential buyers. eSwarms is very similar in a way, the differences seem to be in the details of the whole setup.

There is no connection to Letsbuyit.com at all however the concept is copied from letsbuyit.com as well as the powershopping in China. Very interesting movement!

Indeed, interesting. I suppose you guys at letsbuyit have mixed feelings. Feeling great, because you were amongst (if not the) first to come up with this, but feeling bad, because you were 7 years too early…?

as we are not focussing on the co-buying anymore you are definitely a pioneer 2.0 and therefore we are keenly watching your progress. Letshopeit that the price comparison has not created a price transparency that has already cracked the negotiation margin. Let us know when you have offline actions in Paris or Hamburg.
the best of luck and happy momentum-gaining

Oh, you must have misunderstood. I am not in any way associated with eswarms. I just wrote about it…
